Jackie Hayes

Jackie Hayes (born August 17, 1999) is a Chicago-based musician from Waukegan. Her musical journey began in a church worship band, where her piano skills were praised but ultimately led to her being kicked out for not sharing the same beliefs. Rejecting religious constraints, Hayes pursued music independently despite parental opposition, funding her career through various jobs and sneaking into shows.

At 19, she moved to Chicago and embraced the city’s diverse music scene, releasing self-published music and gaining a following for her raw and honest lyrics. Hayes has performed with artists like Claud, Role Model, and The Japanese House. Following her successful debut EP take it, leave it, she returns with [project name], a new chapter exploring her past and personal growth.

With producer Billy Lemos once again, ‘Creature of Habit’ delves into Hayes’ tumultuous upbringing, blending introspection with vibrant energy. The project reflects her journey of reclaiming her path and confronting her past with courage and authenticity.
